AT A GLANCE

One Session, Two Parts

2.5–3 hours for two portions: AI-DLC foundations followed by a guided build.

Part 1: AI-DLC Foundations
The first hour helps you understand why AI-DLC is more than an AI coding demonstration. The emphasis is on the full delivery lifecycle and the role of people in setting direction, validating outputs, managing risk, and deciding what ships.

You will leave with a shared vocabulary and a practical understanding of how AI-DLC connects business intent, specifications, implementation, verification, and human accountability.
Part 2: AI-DLC in Action
Office-hours style facilitation and coaching takes your group from a small, preselected business idea to a lightweight specification and acceptance criteria, a short implementation task plan, AI-assisted construction of a simple web application, and a rapid review using human decision gates.

The goal is an understandable working artifact that demonstrates the method, not a production-ready application or production deployment.

AI-DLC FOUNDATIONS

Five Pillars Behind AI-DLC

Outcome-Driven Delivery
Start with the user, business outcome, and evidence of success rather than beginning with code.
Spec-Driven Development
Create clear requirements, measurable acceptance criteria, and sufficient context before implementation.
Human Decision Gates
Use AI to accelerate work while people retain validation, risk, review, and release decisions.
Continuous Verification
Build quality, testing, security, and traceability into the workflow instead of treating them as end-stage activities.
Evidence-Based Improvement
Use delivery evidence and lessons learned to improve specifications, workflows, and future Units of Work.
WHAT YOU GET

Learn With More Than a Demo

Shared AI-DLC Vocabulary
A common understanding of the five pillars, lifecycle stages, Units of Work, Bolts, human gates, and continuous verification.
Reusable Sample Specification
A lightweight artifact containing the sample business objective, user need, requirements, acceptance criteria, and scope.
Simple Implementation Plan
An ordered set of tasks showing how specifications are translated into build and verification work.
Working Mini Application
A small web application created during the guided exercise as evidence of the abbreviated workflow.
Human-Gate Experience
Hands-on practice reviewing AI output and deciding what is acceptable, what needs refinement, and what should not advance.
Adoption Discussion
A short list of workflows or teams that may be candidates for a deeper AI-DLC Workshop or Readiness Assessment.
